Private Fly Casting

We offer private instruction set up to meet your schedule. The casts covered would be according to your needs including working with sink tip lines and line control. This is the best way to get yourself out of the beginner stage and move you to a more advanced level of casting. All casting can be covered including the single haul and the double haul.

Location: Ralph B. Clark Park, a short 10-minute drive from the store.

Private Shooting Head Casting

One of the most difficult types of fly casting to master is casting a shooting head. The (usually) weighted fly line head is attached to a very thin running line that can be nearly impossible to control. Mastering this set-up, used for distance and especially in saltwater, may mean the difference between success and failure.

Become familiar with the best shooting head set-ups for most occasions, not to mention the skill of launching heads to nearly 140'. This is a unique skill that you can get control of those long distance casts. Two hours of instruction is $100 with times set up on an individual basis.

ABOUT OUR CLASSES

Classroom instruction is held in our modern Fly Fishing Education Center, 200ft. east of the store. Casting classes are at Ralph Clark Regional Park, a short ten-minute drive from the store.

Cancellations - Cancellations made 14 days prior to class date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made 8 to 14 days prior to class date may be rescheduled. Cancellations made less than 8 days prior to class date will forfeit their class fee and space.

Availability - Class availability is subject to change ay any time.
