Salt Water Fly Fishing School
If you live in Southern California and your not fishing saltwater, then your missing out on some great fishing excitement! Whether you want to chase yellowtail off Catalina Island, dorado off Baja or just enjoy casting the local beaches for corbina, perch, and halibut, this class will get you ready for the salt.

This is a two-day class: Saturday is spent in our Education Center classroom, where you'll learn about the rods, reels and other gear for saltwater flyfishing, how to rig leaders and flies, the extra strong knots required, and advanced casting techniques, including the use of shooting heads.

Includes:
Sunday morning you'll gather at King Harbor in Redondo Beach to put your classroom skills to the test in a half-day fishing session on skiffs in the harbor. Skiff rental at Rocky Point Marine is included in the class tuition; fishing licenses and flies are not included. Rods reels and lines are also included for class use. Class size is limited to six students at the intermediate skill level (sorry, no beginners).
