Bristol Bay Lodge
After arriving at Bristol Bay
Lodge, you will have lunch and Manager Steve Laurent
will brief you on the afternoon's local fishing
experience and the fishing program for the week ahead.
That first afternoon you may fish Lake Aleknagik, the
Agulowak River, Youth Creek, Sunshine Creek, and Icy
Creek for Rainbow Trout, Lake Trout, Northern Pike,
Sockeye Salmon, Dolly Varden, Artic Char or Artic
Grayling, Steve and his guide team will advise you on
best tactics and flies.
After a full day's fishing, relax in the lakeside sauna
or enjoy a soothing hot tub before cocktails, hors
d'oeuvres and a hearty dinner. The cuisine is plentiful
and prepared with skill and attention to detail,
including freshly made soups, bountiful salads,
home-baked breads, and pastries. Enjoy the game room,
library, and tackle shop after dinner or perhaps a
warming drink and a cigar from the lodge humidor whilst
seated on the screened veranda.
