High Desert Hunt Club
Now, only 60 miles from Los
Angeles, there is a bird club for real hunters. When
nature calls you to the fields, there is no longer any
need to take a week off work, to travel to the hunting
grounds. For, now, there is the High Desert Hunt Club,
in the upper west side of the Antelope Valley.
For quail, there are natural rabbit brush and bramble.
For chukar, there are dry mountains and rocky ledges.
And, for pheasant, there are luscious, green, damp
meadows, with small, running streams.
Just bring your guns and license. The dogs, handlers,
and delicious meals. You'll have an opportunity to bag a
California legal limit of quail, chukar, and pheasant,
all in the same day, in your own field, with no other
hunters.
The rustic adobe hacienda has the nostalgia that goes
with being the oldest building in the Antelope Valley.
