Rivers and Lakes Descriptions

» Chimehuín River
These medium-sized waters offer the possibility to catch nice browns and rainbows with light fly rods, where large fish are found under the willow trees.  You can enjoy an all-day dry fly on a drift boat or look for large trout in "La Boca", where the river emerges from Huechulaufquen Lake

» Collon Cura and Aluminé River
Running through a beautiful and desert valley, the Aluminé and Collon Cura offers a fantastic float trip along 40 miles. Even though these are large rivers, we combine dry fly and nymph fishing with lightweight rods, and streamers, with medium weight rods. The river runs among canyons, offering from slow flats to white-water riffles. Willow trees cover the long banks where large trout are hiding, waiting for large dry flies

» Malleo and Quillén River
You will experience the true essence of fly-fishing in this river. Its features allow the use of light tackle so that you can see the trout you are fishing all the time. You will catch browns and rainbows with dry flies all the day. As it gets dark, caddis, tricots and different mayfly hatches start to emerge. Wade fishing will add more pleasure to the fishing day.

» Caleufu River
Twenty-five miles of a medium size river flowing among canyons are home to the largest trout population in the region. Average-size trout and many trophies of rainbow or brown have turned Caleufu into a fantastic option. At the end of every fishing season big browns swim upstream to spawn; these are ideal waters for medium-weight-rods and weighed streamers.

» Filo Hua Hum Lake
This small lake hides record trout under its surface. These trout charge adult dragonflies, cast from the raft through the reeds that grow in its waters. This is the best way to experience the most fantastic strike on the surface.

» Queñi Lake
Rainbows and browns of record size are lying under the surface to give you delightful surprises. If you wish, you can combine a fishing day with a sightseeing trip to a waterfall or hot-spring waters.
