1976 was a hallmark year for the fly fishing world. It was then that Ted Juracsik introduced the first anti-reverse reel designated the Billy Pate. Since then Ted expanded the line to include six model sizes in either anti-reverse or direct drive. Unquestionably no other fly reel has matched this reel's record for durability and dependability day in and day out, regardless of conditions, locale or species. It is designed and constructed to withstand the most demanding conditions, and as with all Tibor Reels, the Billy Pate is virtually maintenance free.

Made from solid aluminum bar stock. Rim control for addiational braking. Each reel is serialized for identification and protection.

The Billy Pate Salmon reel is for rod weights 6-7-8, ideal for Steelhead, Salmon, Redfish, Bonefish, Dolphin, Bluefish, Snook.
Capacity: 230 yds. with WF6F, 215 yds. with WF7F, 200 yds. with WF8F.All with 20 lb. micron backing

The Bonefish reel is for rod weights 7-8-9, ideal for Steelhead, Salmon, Redfish, Bonefish, Dolphin, Small Tarpon.
Capacity: 300 yds. with WF7F, 285 yds. with WF8F, 275 yds. with WF9F.All with 20 lb. micron backing.

The Tarpon reel is for rod weights 10-11-12, ideal for Tarpon, Stripers, King Salmon, Dolphin and Shark.
Capacity: 350 yds. with WF10F, 320 yds. with WF11F, 300 yds. with WF12F.All with 30 lb. micron backing.

The Marlin reel is for rod weights 12-13-14, ideal for Tarpon, Sailfish, Marlin, Shark and Tuna.
