Velocity: only the name remains the same. Totally redesigned and machined using a unique "3 plane" pocket milling technique, every aspect of performance, strength-to-weight ratio, line pick-up speed and storage has been improved. And as is often the case, the distinctive new engineered "truss" wall structure gives the Velocity a personality all its own. Bigger, faster, lighter and stronger. The Velocity Nickel is finished in the same beautiful type 2 anodize that we use on Guru, and is further accented with our trademark burnt-orange anodized drag cassette. You now have a choice: Velocity Hard Alox for an incredibly tough finish, or the lighter and brighter Velocity Nickel. Made in the USA.
