Two-Handed (spey) rods are designed to meet the special requirements of steelhead and salmon anglers. Namely, covering lots of water, making precise mends and casting considerable distances.

Boron IIx Two-Handed rods, made with Winston's second-generation boron/graphite composite, are among the lightest spey rods in the world and offer extraordinary power, responsiveness and accuracy. Extremely lightweight, you’ll find these rods to be a pleasure to cast all day.  

Winston's Boron II-MX Two-Handed rods are slightly faster than their Boron IIx Two-Handed series. Both rod series were created with the help of Winston technical advisor Andre Scholz, one of the world's top spey casters.
