Description

Tapered weight forward floating design made for the specific casting demands of Steelhead and Atlantic salmon fly fishing. Also a fantastic nymphing line with a strike indicator. The long belly and back taper were developed for roll or overhead casting and single-handed spey casting. A bullet front taper helps deliver bombers and other large flies. This line works well with a greaseline or waking fly technique. RIO's state-of-the-art computer-driven fly line technology allows us to taper the rear belly with slightly more diameter. This creates weight in order to load the rod butt for casting performance and durability in this critical area. Coldwater coating on a multifilament core.
